Software Sales Engineer - Genetics / Laboratory Diagnostics

Responsibilities
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert supporting the sales team
- Own pre-contract technical sales support with prospects and partners
- Work with the sales team to close new business
- Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and customer requests
- Act as a liaison between customers and the product team
- Support post-sales teams with knowledge transfer and solution validation
- Own and develop relationships with 3rd party channel partners
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience supporting a sales team offering enterprise software solutions
- Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree
Preferred Skills
- Experience in healthcare technology
- Familiarity with precision medicine or genetics
- Knowledge of healthcare delivery mechanisms and electronic medical record solutions including Epic, Cerner, Athena
- Certified in EPIC
- Lean Six Sigma certification
- Experience with general consulting principles such as team facilitation, business case development, business analysis, process mapping, and process redesign
