Responsibilities

  • Define and execute Utila's sales and partnership strategy across Africa
  • Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities with banks, fintechs, payment companies, and institutional clients
  • Establish and nurture executive-level relationships with key stakeholders, regulators, and ecosystem partners
  • Negotiate and close commercial agreements
  • Collaborate closely with product and marketing teams
  • Represent Utila at industry events and forums
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback for product development

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships
  • Experience in fintech, payments, or digital assets
  • Strong network across African financial institutions or fintechs
  • Proven track record of driving enterprise-level deals and revenue growth
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
