Responsibilities
- Become an expert on Samsara products
- Articulate how businesses use Samsara to solve industry problems
- Deliver work products for deal closure
- Write scripts against open API for real-world problem-solving
- Open doors for deeper customer entrenchment
- Act as a liaison between product and sales teams
- Partner with sales executives for transaction execution
- Support sales executives with queries
- Build relationships with third-party partners
- Champion Samsara’s cultural principles
Required Skills
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline
- 2+ years experience in pre-sales, customer success, or customer/product support
- Ability to influence stakeholders based on technical sales acumen
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience managing hardware and/or software product evaluations
- Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems
- Experience with technical consulting, cloud software, cloud-connected hardware, computer networking, business systems integration, automation, and control systems
- Fluent in English
- Great time management and organizational skills
Preferred Skills
- MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline
- Work experience in task automation scripting using Bash, Python, JavaScript, or equivalent language
- Work experience building solutions leveraging open APIs
- Understanding of vehicle diagnostic systems including CAN bus and PTO applications
- Hobbyist interest in electronics-related projects
- Knowledge of MEDDIC/BANT and/or Value Selling sales concepts
- Experience with product teams and feature request processes
