Responsibilities

  • Discover potential opportunities within the market and customer segment
  • Improve allegiance and sales revenue for Thermo Fisher Scientific
  • Drive the Thermo Fisher Scientific value proposition
  • Interface and collaborate with key members of the Sales team, marketing teams, and technical service groups
  • Attend technical collaboration visits to manufacturing and R&D sites
  • Support new Product Introduction (NPI) prospects
  • Handle the sales funnel and forecast in collaboration with country leads
  • Consult with key account managers on obtaining customer forecasts
  • Use sales tools to handle accounts, opportunities, and forecasting
  • Maintain awareness of competitor and industry activity
  • Introduce new products and services as available

Required Skills

  • M.Sc. degree in Science or Business-based fields
  • Proven experience working with gas chromatography and/or mass spectrometry instrumentation
  • Proficient in German and English

Preferred Skills

  • Working experience from a routine laboratory environment (food, environmental or industrial)
