Responsibilities
- Build business in national accounts, middle markets, small group markets
- Develop relationships with broker/consultant communities
- Manage all business development efforts
- Implement strategies to attain sales objectives
- Manage complex negotiations
- Position products and portfolios to increase sales
- Identify ways to partner with clients
- Promote sales through meetings and conferences
- Manage the sales process from lead to close
- Generate cross-selling opportunities
- Update Salesforce for pipeline management
Mandatory Requirements
- 7+ years of sales and account management experience
- Experience in benefits, consulting and financial services industry
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Communications, Business, Marketing or related field
- Strong financial industry experience with understanding of alternative assets
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with Salesforce CRM
