Responsibilities

  • Build business in national accounts, middle markets, small group markets
  • Develop relationships with broker/consultant communities
  • Manage all business development efforts
  • Implement strategies to attain sales objectives
  • Manage complex negotiations
  • Position products and portfolios to increase sales
  • Identify ways to partner with clients
  • Promote sales through meetings and conferences
  • Manage the sales process from lead to close
  • Generate cross-selling opportunities
  • Update Salesforce for pipeline management

Mandatory Requirements

  • 7+ years of sales and account management experience
  • Experience in benefits, consulting and financial services industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Communications, Business, Marketing or related field
  • Strong financial industry experience with understanding of alternative assets

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM
