Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor for executive leadership
  • Align people strategy with business goals
  • Develop and administer workforce alignment programs
  • Consult and guide leaders on people-related matters
  • Assist employees and leaders in difficult situations
  • Respond to inquiries about company policies and benefits
  • Ensure policies and programs are applied consistently
  • Provide direction on federal and state employment laws
  • Administer compensation and promotion recommendations
  • Support employee engagement and talent management
  • Provide organizational design support
  • Prepare employee separation notices
  • Provide goal-setting support
  • Represent the company at unemployment hearings
  • Assist with new hire on-boarding
  • Serve on project teams
  • Prepare training materials and conduct sessions
  • Make judgments on issue escalation

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification (preferred)
  • PHR or SPHR certification (preferred)
  • 2+ years’ relevant experience in human resources
  • Knowledgeable of HR policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • Experience with HR software systems and/or performance management systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Experience supporting complex, technology companies
