Responsibilities

  • Understand customer’s business and decision-making factors
  • Connect technology solutions to customer business outcomes
  • Collaborate with account managers and partners for customer experience
  • Showcase Pure Storage solution advantages
  • Deliver technical presentations to customers
  • Capture requirements and translate into innovative solutions
  • Lead responses to RFPs, RFQs and RFIs
  • Promote mutual roadmap and planning exchanges
  • Produce marketing materials
  • Stay current with competition and market trends

Mandatory Requirements

  • BS in CS, EE or other technical degree
  • Pre-sales experience
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications
  • Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions
  • Familiarity with modern web architecture
  • Superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures
  • Previous experience with Linux, NFS file systems
  • Installation/configuration of distributed computing and storage subsystems architecture
  • Strong knowledge of digital transformation to Cloud Native architecture

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience supporting sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Familiarity with containers, k8s and microservices architectures
  • Knowledge of VMware, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP
  • Familiarity with storage-intensive applications and structured databases
