Responsibilities

  • Lead Strategic Accounts function
  • Act as senior point of escalation
  • Maintain strong governance across forecasting and pipeline management
  • Develop and coach the Strategic Accounts team
  • Build and manage senior-level relationships with vendors
  • Oversee vendor pipeline performance and profitability
  • Optimise participation in procurement frameworks
  • Contribute to tender submissions and procurement activity
  • Provide insights and reporting on pipeline health and risks
  • Identify emerging risks and recommend actions

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in IT sales
  • Extensive experience in FE, HE, Research, or public-sector markets
  • Managing complex, enterprise-level accounts
  • Commercial acumen
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Experience with managed services
  • Previous experience in leading or developing people
  • Understanding of public-sector procurement processes
  • Ability to navigate multi-vendor environments
