Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales targets by developing and maintaining strong relationships
  • Manage the full sales funnel, including prospecting, qualification, pipeline development, forecasting, and closing
  • Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, lead follow-up, and face-to-face customer meetings
  • Prepare and deliver customer quotes and proposals, negotiating pricing and contract terms
  • Provide technical and applications support to customers
  • Work with plant personnel, marketing, technical service, and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Attend and present at customer meetings, industry conferences, and training events
  • Develop understanding of competitive threats, pricing trends, and alternative solutions
  • Incorporate market intelligence into sales planning and account strategies
  • Collaborate with Sales Director on regional growth strategies and penetration plans
  • Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information in CRM
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts
  • Review and utilize monthly revenue and receivables reports

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive sales experience in environmental remediation, industrial minerals, or inorganic chemicals
  • Knowledge of environmental remediation industry terminology and regulations
  • Experience with funnel management and proficiency in CRM software
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Business Administration
