Responsibilities
- Achieves or exceeds assigned sales goals
- Developing new account opportunities
- Managing assigned accounts
- Driving product specifications
- Preparing strategic business/territory plans
- Following standard sales process
- Developing technical collateral and presentations
- Coordinating product knowledge training sessions
- Utilizing technology for productivity
- Collaborating with internal support resources
- Attending industry conventions and trade shows
- Maintaining extensive product knowledge
- Adhering to company policies and procedures
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Construction Management or 2-3 years of construction industry experience
- Four to ten years of related experience in the construction industry
- Two years of customer service experience
- Construction knowledge (e.g., waterproofing, air barriers)
- Basic knowledge of product chemistries
Preferred Skills
- Salesforce.com or other CRM software experience
- Insulated Concrete Forms knowledge/experience
