Responsibilities

  • Achieves or exceeds assigned sales goals and expectations
  • Works with existing accounts and seeks new account opportunities
  • Manages assigned accounts for business development opportunities
  • Drives product specifications and project opportunities
  • Prepares and delivers strategic business/territory plans
  • Follows the sales process to identify prospects and close deals
  • Develops and delivers technical collateral and presentations
  • Collaborates for product knowledge training sessions
  • Attends and presents at industry conventions and trade shows
  • Maintains extensive product knowledge

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Construction Management or 2-3 years of construction or industry experience
  • Four to ten years of related experience in the construction industry
  • Minimum of two years of customer service experience
  • Construction knowledge (waterproofing, air barriers, framing, modular, etc.)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills

  • Salesforce.com or other CRM software experience
  • Basic knowledge of product chemistries
  • Insulated Concrete Forms knowledge/experience
