Responsibilities
- Achieves or exceeds assigned sales goals and expectations
- Works with existing accounts and seeks new account opportunities
- Manages assigned accounts for business development opportunities
- Drives product specifications and project opportunities
- Prepares and delivers strategic business/territory plans
- Follows the sales process to identify prospects and close deals
- Develops and delivers technical collateral and presentations
- Collaborates for product knowledge training sessions
- Attends and presents at industry conventions and trade shows
- Maintains extensive product knowledge
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Construction Management or 2-3 years of construction or industry experience
- Four to ten years of related experience in the construction industry
- Minimum of two years of customer service experience
- Construction knowledge (waterproofing, air barriers, framing, modular, etc.)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Skills
- Salesforce.com or other CRM software experience
- Basic knowledge of product chemistries
- Insulated Concrete Forms knowledge/experience
