Technical Sales Representative
About the Company
Tremco Sealants manufactures sealants, air barriers, waterproofing membranes, traffic coatings, and more for new construction and restoration.
Responsibilities
- Achieves or exceeds assigned sales goals and expectations
- Works with existing accounts while seeking new opportunities
- Manages assigned accounts to establish business development opportunities
- Drives product specifications and project opportunities
- Develops trusted partnerships with customers
- Prepares and delivers strategic business/territory plans
- Follows the standard sales process
- Manages day-to-day contact with accounts
- Develops and delivers technical collateral and presentations
- Collaborates with senior staff for training sessions
- Attends and presents at industry conventions and trade shows
- Maintains extensive product knowledge
- Adheres to company policies and procedures
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Construction Management or
- 2-3 years of construction or industry experience or
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED with 5 years of construction or industry experience
- Two to four years related experience and/or training
- Construction knowledge (i.e., waterproofing, air barriers, framing, modular, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of product chemistries
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Salesforce.com or other CRM software experience
