Responsibilities
- Achieves or exceeds assigned sales goals
- Works with existing accounts and develops new opportunities
- Manages assigned accounts and establishes business development opportunities
- Drives product specifications and project opportunities
- Prepares and delivers strategic business plans and monthly forecasts
- Follows standard sales process for identifying prospects and closing deals
- Manages day-to-day contact with customers
- Develops and delivers technical collateral and presentations
- Coordinates product knowledge training sessions
- Leverages technology for productivity and lead generation
- Attends and presents at industry conventions and trade shows
- Maintains extensive product knowledge
- Adheres to company policies and operational procedures
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, or Construction Management
- 2-3 years of construction or industry experience
- 2-4 years related experience
- Construction knowledge (waterproofing, air barriers, framing, modular)
- Basic knowledge of product chemistries
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Salesforce.com or CRM software experience
