Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales goals
  • Manage existing accounts and develop new account opportunities
  • Establish business development opportunities through account penetration
  • Drive product specifications and project opportunities
  • Develop trusted partnerships and advisory relationships with customers
  • Prepare and deliver strategic business/territory plans
  • Follow the standard sales process
  • Manage day-to-day contact with customers
  • Develop and deliver technical digital collateral and presentations
  • Coordinate product knowledge training sessions
  • Leverage technology for productivity and sales tracking
  • Collaborate with internal support resources
  • Attend and present at industry conventions and trade shows
  • Maintain extensive product knowledge
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Construction Management or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years of construction or industry experience
  • Two to four years related experience
  • Construction knowledge (waterproofing, air barriers, framing, modular)
  • Basic knowledge of product chemistries
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills

  • Salesforce.com or other CRM software experience
