Responsibilities

  • Drive sales activities focusing on new business acquisition and development of existing customers
  • Build, manage, and expand a customer portfolio
  • Actively prospect and identify new business opportunities
  • Arrange and confirm customer appointments and organize Business Review Meetings (BRMs)
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers
  • Provide professional advice and tailored logistics solutions
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations
  • Keep customers informed about market developments, trends, and rate evolutions
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution
  • Lead tenders and RFQs with support from Inside Sales and Procurement
  • Monitor and report sales results to the Country Sales Manager
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments and overseas branches

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of sales experience
  • Experience in logistics or freight forwarding
  • Bachelor-level thinking and working capacity
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Valid B driving license
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Pivot Tables, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience with CargoWise
  • Fluent in French
