Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to define roles and interview processes
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate selection of qualified candidates
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Administer benefits, leave, and performance management programs
- Track compliance with employment laws
- Support compensation reviews and recommend pay adjustments
- Serve as first point of contact for team member questions
- Support career pathing and performance improvement discussions
- Assist with investigations and employee relations matters
- Identify process gaps and recommend best practices
- Stay current on employment regulations and People Ops technology
Mandatory Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in HR Generalist or People Operations
- Working knowledge of multi-state employment law
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding and employee relations
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency with Google Workspace
Preferred Requirements
- Familiarity with ATS (Greenhouse)
- Familiarity with HCM (Paycom) systems
- Preference for candidates in Central or Mountain time zones
