National Sales Manager

Agricultural equipment manufacturing, medium-sized company
Responsibilities
- Lead a 7-region sales team and set clear goals & KPIs
- Build relationships with buyers, VPs, and C-suite at key accounts
- Win new national retail accounts and expand existing chains
- Design and justify annual sales plans and forecasts to leadership
- Present sales, revenue, expense reports, and outlooks regularly
- Identify market shifts and competitive moves; adjust tactics fast
- Organize and staff trade shows; support product launches
- Coach field teams on store execution, merchandising, and service
- Partner with ops/merchandising on inventory and delivery issues
- Travel with reps ~14 weeks yearly; lead during peak show seasons
Required Skills
- 7+ years of Sales experience
- 3+ years of Sales Management experience
- Experience calling on retail locations or dealer networks
- OEM tractor, tillage, farm, off-road, or mobile equipment sales experience
- Mechanical aptitude
