Family run business supplying waterproofing systems and flat roofing to contractors across the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop relationships with roofing contractors, builders, architects, and property managers
  • Provide technical guidance and product recommendations based on customer needs and project specifications
  • Conduct on‐site inspections and assessments to ensure proper application of roofing products
  • Deliver product presentations, training sessions, and demonstrations to clients and distributors
  • Prepare and present proposals, cost estimates, and bids
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed targets
  • Stay informed about industry regulations, new technologies, and competitor products
  • Work closely with the technical and support teams to resolve customer concerns
  • Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences to generate leads

Required Skills

  • Experience in roofing, construction materials, or a related technical field
  • Strong knowledge of flat roofing systems
  • Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and estimating tools
  • Willingness to travel to job sites and client meetings

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with roofing manufacturers, contractors, or suppliers
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to roofing
