Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to understand their unique HR requirements and goals
  • Provide guidance on HR topics like employee relations, performance management, and recruitment
  • Develop and implement tailored HR policies and procedures
  • Address employee relations issues and conduct investigations
  • Support clients in recruiting and onboarding processes
  • Develop performance evaluation frameworks
  • Ensure clients' HR practices comply with legal requirements
  • Identify training needs and develop training programs
  • Administer employee benefit programs
  • Assess clients' HR technology needs and recommend systems

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in HR roles, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment
  • Expertise in CA employment laws
  • Proven experience in HR consulting or generalist roles, preferably serving multiple clients
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Requirements

  • Master's degree
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification
  • Experience working with non-profit organizations
