Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their unique HR requirements and goals
- Provide guidance on HR topics like employee relations, performance management, and recruitment
- Develop and implement tailored HR policies and procedures
- Address employee relations issues and conduct investigations
- Support clients in recruiting and onboarding processes
- Develop performance evaluation frameworks
- Ensure clients' HR practices comply with legal requirements
- Identify training needs and develop training programs
- Administer employee benefit programs
- Assess clients' HR technology needs and recommend systems
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in HR roles, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment
- Expertise in CA employment laws
- Proven experience in HR consulting or generalist roles, preferably serving multiple clients
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Requirements
- Master's degree
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification
- Experience working with non-profit organizations
