Responsibilities

  • Work directly with customer engineering teams to identify thermal requirements
  • Develop engineered solutions tailored to customer applications
  • Serve as technical liaison between customers and Boyd Engineering
  • Support Account Managers by providing technical expertise throughout the sales cycle
  • Participate in customer meetings to clarify requirements
  • Assist in developing strategies for increased customer penetration
  • Perform technical reviews for quotation development
  • Monitor technical progress of projects
  • Support commercial discussions with technical input
  • Maintain documentation of customer opportunities in Salesforce CRM

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Electrical, or related discipline)
  • 8+ years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, applications engineering, or engineering-driven customer-facing roles
  • Ability to apply engineering and technical analysis to customer applications
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to negotiate a quantified value proposition
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and project management skills

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of thermal management
  • Experience in high-power compute and rack-level cooling
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM
